Joe B. Parsons

Joe B. Parsons, 86 of Oxford, PA, departed this life on February 13, 2026 in Elkton, MD. He fought a long batter with cancer.

Born July 31,1939, in Johnson Co., Tennessee, Joe was the son of the late James and the late Cora Ellis Parsons.

He attended Kennett High School 

Joe was a great Dad and loved his children. He always wanted the best for them.

He was hard-working and dedicated and spent many years working as a truck driver and hauling Amish. He also enjoyed traveling. 

He survived by two daughters, Alice Orlando of Trade, TN and Susan Moore (Jeff Boyle) of Oxford, PA; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his good friend, Miguel Herrera (Lizabeth) of Elkton, MD; friend, Fredda Perkins; as well as many nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Paxson, Kmike and Shirley; as well as his son, Joseph Parsons.

His family finds comfort in knowing that Joe’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught them, the love he shared, and the memories they will cherish forever.

Services will be private.
